Tulsi Chanrai Eye Hospital

Tulsi Chanrai Eye Hospital (TCEH) is a professionally managed quality eye care provider in Maharashtra having state-of-the-art eye care infrastructure certified by ISO 9001-2008. It is spread over 22,500 square feet with 135 bed capacity, catering to population of 2.6 million from six districts in the state.

The hospital provides excellent services for cataract and most major blinding conditions and trains eye doctors and mid-level personnel. It organises around 900 free eye screening camps every year in remote rural areas around Nasik and has performed around 200,000 surgeries since its inception in 1994. During 2017-18 the hospital provided services to over 30,000 persons via hospital and outreach services. 14,497 cataract surgeries were performed, of which over half were carried out at no cost to the patient.

TCEH also runs vision centres in Jawhar, Kopargaon and Ghoti in Palghar, Ahmednagar and Nashik districts respectively, to provide services to communities residing in rural areas.
