LV Prasad Eye Institute

LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) is a 30-year-old not-for-profit eye care facility that provides state-of-the-art comprehensive and affordable eye health care to communities. Its mandate also includes training and quality education to all cadres of eye care personnel, translational research and policy advocacy. Over the years, LVPEI has emerged as a major institution for eye health and its work now covers 4 states of India – Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Odisha – through a network of  over 180 Vision Centres in remote villages, 19 secondary eye centres in semi-urban areas, 3 tertiary centres in cities and a Centre of Excellence in Hyderabad.
