Nutrition and Hygiene Kits provided during COVID-19 to support those in need

Wen Giving Foundation has partnered with Mission for Vision and Vivekananda Mission Ashram to provide Nutrition and Hygiene kits to vulnerable communities in West Bengal during the COVID-19 pandemic. To amplify the need, super cyclone Amphan made landfall in West Bengal on the 20th May 2020 causing widespread damage to these already vulnerable communities.

The Nutrition and Hygiene kits consist of basic food and hygiene items such as milk powder, chickpeas, rice flakes, groundnuts and soap, and will sustain a household for up to 10 days. The food items in the kit are ‘ready to eat’ and are suitable for people who are lacking kitchen provisions due to the impact of super cyclone Amphan.
