Vision Centres

Vision Centres are small clinics (between 250 – 600 sq ft) that offer affordable primary eye care services in rural and remote communities. They are run by Allied Ophthalmic Personnel who have been trained by leading eye institutions through scholarships provided by Wen Giving Foundation.

Wen Giving is committed to supporting the establishment of 200 Vision Centres in much needed communities in India. Each Vision Centre will service a population of approximately 50,000 with high quality screening facilities, affordable spectacles, referral services and education initiatives to raise eye health awareness within the community.

Wen Giving Foundation partnered with Siliguri Greater Lions Eye Hospital to launch this Vision Centre in Dhupguri, West Bengal state.
